Identification

How do you identify?
Do you relate yourself to your work? your age? your location? your place of birth?
It’s interesting to note when someone new introduces themselves to you how they identify because the words and phrases we use very rarely tell people who we are.
What makes you, you?
In truth, it is nothing other than your opinion of yourself. There is no REAL YOU, because you have the adaptability to change your opinion and therefore the way you identify whenever you want.
We form our opinions of ourselves as kids and build to the picture as we grow. We then communicate our current opinions on who we are to formulate a picture that we want people to know us by.
I am English. I am a Mum. I am a Coach. I am 40 years old.
That’s my Go To…but I’ve been thinking recently, what if I want to be more than that? What if I want to be known for something bigger than where and when I was born?
I am a Leader. I am Love. I am a Changemaker. I am a Dreamer.
